As Cost consultants, CJ Consilium work with our client to establish and maintain the budget for the proposed construction project.
Once the budget is set, we will work to ensure that the procurement route selected is in the best financial interest of the client. There are many ways of achieving the project, but only one will be the most cost effective!
Identifying 'cost' is not as obvious as it may seem. For some clients, cost need not always be measured in pure monetary terms, time is a costly resource and a major consideration.
It may be of value to the client to pay a higher cost to achieve completion sooner rather than minimise the cost and complete over a longer period.
Cost and value need to be differentiated and evaluated specific to the individual client and their requirements.
